Fluorometers are essential equipment for professionals working in the fields of tracing, analysis, and monitoring of fluorescent tracers in natural environments. Designed to be easy to use, they offer a user-friendly interface and features tailored to the needs of users. Fluorometers are high-precision measurement instruments that enable the detection and quantification of the fluorescence of fluorescent tracers. They are equipped with sensitive sensors and advanced technologies to ensure reliable and accurate measurements.

The use of fluorometers and data loggers offers numerous advantages in tracing work. They enable precise analysis of fluorescent tracers, thereby facilitating the detection and tracking of fluid movements. Data loggers are essential tools for tracking and data collection in long-term tracing studies. They allow for the recording and analysis of tracing data over time, thus providing a deep insight into movements and flows.

The collected data provides valuable information for hydrogeological studies, monitoring water distribution networks, leak detection, and many other applications. The Hyperion Fluorometer sensor range delivers high-performance measurements of fluorescein (Uranine) or rhodamine in a compact and robust housing, ideal as a standalone sensor, for integration into ROVs and AUVs, or used as part of a multi-sensor network and data logger.

Offered as standard in a titanium housing, the Hyperion fluorometer features an isolated power supply with a wide range (9-28 V DC), a data output up to 16 Hz, and an RS232, RS485, and Modbus interface for communications.

Hyperion Turbidity - Optical Turbidity Sensor

The new Valeport Hyperion-T essentially consists of two sensors in one. The first is a "classic" turbidity sensor, a nephelometer that uses a 90° beam angle for low levels of turbidity (0 to 1,000 NTU). The second, for high turbidity levels (1,000 to 6,000 NTU), uses an Optical Backscatter (OBS) device (beam angle of ~120°).

Intelligent sampling and the use of a 24-bit ADC eliminate the need for a gain switch at higher turbidity levels. The optical head is very compact - it measures only 20 mm in diameter and with a full ocean depth rating, it lends itself to OEM type solutions.

HYPERION SULFORHODAMINE B

The Valeport Hyperion Sulforhodamine B fluorometer measures Sulforhodamine B levels with high precision. The compact and robust "Hyperion" range is ideal for use as a standalone sensor, connected to our autonomous data loggers such as EnviroLog / EnviroLog 4G, and other market data loggers, as well as all market remote management PLCs.

Available as standard in a titanium housing, the Hyperion fluorometer is equipped with an isolated power supply with a wide range (9-28 VDC), a data output up to 16 Hz, and RS232 and RS485 interfaces with ASCII and Modbus RTU communication protocols.

Hyperion Phycocyanine

The Valeport Hyperion range of fluorometers accurately measures levels of chlorophyll A, phycocyanin (freshwater blue-green algae), crude oil, fluorescein (uranine), sulforhodamine B, or rhodamine. The compact and robust "Hyperion" range is ideal for use as a standalone sensor, connected to our autonomous data loggers like EnviroLog / EnviroLog 4G and other data loggers on the market as well as all market telemetry PLCs.

Hyperion 2 offers the best dynamic range on the market that requires no adjustment or gain setting. The detection range of the phycocyanin fluorometer is 0 to 9000 ppm. Hyperion fluorometers are available in a more rugged version. This includes acetal protection rings, anti-snag connector protection, and a kevlar-protected cable for geotechnical applications.
